'Slut'- Yes I am

This incident took place few mins back, missed my shuttle from Kurla station as I was late hence I had to take auto to my office. Let's not mention about challenges faced as auto rickshaw driver doesn't agree for solo trip from Kurla to BKC and you are forced to take shared one. So I shared my rickshaw with two men, one was young who decently sat inside and in the middle was an old man around 55 years old who was going to One BKC. As I had to get down at Citibank I preferred taking left most seat. This old man who was high on his testosterone made me uncomfortable by his body language and stares. He even touched my thighs with his fingers and tried to act if it happened by mistake. I already asked him to sit properly and give me some space, but little did I know I am talking to an ill mannered man for whom a woman is source of his pleasure. After getting down I asked driver to hold on for a minute and asked that man to go home and give same looks to his daughter and sister and touch their thighs in the same manner. And I got the obvious reaction, he yelled on top of his voice, 'Ayeeee! Hatt!! Raand Saali' (translation- Hey! GET Lost! YOU SLUT). I pointed my finger towards him and said 'mind your language, you will be punished one day for your deeds' with all my anger and heat.
But yeah you see, I am slut because I raised my voice in front of a half educated Indian Man who has all rights to touch me and I am expected to resist but not complain.I am sure questions will be raised on my dressing sense, then let me tell you I was wearing a full sleeves high neck kurti, so yes I am not inviting men to come and molest me.
But yes I am slut, because I and women like me have audacity to show such Indian men their true colors.
Kudos  to India and Indian men and not to mention Indian society!
Tell me how can I love my India?

    2. I do understand your anger, it will be good if you can hit that coward but I don't think that your education and culture allow you to do so.

    3. My culture does allow me to sue him, have done this is past when I was 18 yr old, thing is Auto driver didn't cooperate much, he ran away.Hence I say, we need 'Good people' to step up and support the one who raises voice and not suppress them.

    4. Agreed... Raising voice and supporting should be the first step. Nice to know that you did the same at the age of 18, though that is very sad to know that you have faced something wrong at that age.

  2. This is gross, I do not know why you resorted to teach them when you could have handed then to police. No question straight to police.... Let him explain then what he thought of you and what he think of him self.
